Nickle Welcomes Back Corporate Trainer Mike Basham

Nickle Electrical Companies is excited to welcome Mike Basham back to the team as our Corporate Trainer.

Mike brings more than four decades of electrical industry experience, beginning his journey in vocational school in 1983. Throughout his career, he has served in nearly every role within the electrical trade, including company ownership, giving him a unique and well-rounded perspective on the industry. Since 1991, he has also been dedicated to apprenticeship education, investing his time and expertise in developing the next generation of skilled electricians through hands-on training and mentorship.

Mike is no stranger to Nickle. He previously served as our Corporate Trainer from 2020 to 2022 before pursuing an opportunity to expand his knowledge and experience by leading apprenticeship training with a national training organization. While that role allowed him to further develop his instructional skills and broaden his perspective on workforce development, his passion for working directly with employees ultimately brought him back to Nickle.

“I have a real interest in watching my co-workers grow and advance in their chosen career path,” Mike shared. “By sharing my experiences and knowledge with my co-workers, I hope to be part of the continued success Nickle has experienced and do my part in setting future electricians up for greater success.”

As Corporate Trainer, Mike will lead technical and professional development initiatives that help employees strengthen their skills, grow their careers, and continue delivering the quality workmanship Nickle is known for. His extensive field experience, passion for teaching, and commitment to employee development make him a tremendous asset to both our team and our training programs.
